Ageing, Longevity and Health

One of the�objectives of�the IARU is to instigate initiatives and resolve global challenges on the basis of a fruitful research cooperation�at an international level.

Under the headline “Global Change” the IARU has decided to pursue five specific research topics which encompass global problem definitions and challenges. These can only be solved by an inter-disciplinary cooperation across national borders. One of these research topics is “Ageing, Longevity and Health”.

Two important issues to this IARU initiative are to secure both an effective communication within the research theme itself as well as an appropriate exposure to the research projects and the "Ageing, Longevity and Health" theme in general.� For that purpose, the University of Copenhagen has established a IARU Ageing, Longevity and Health website.�
